High-Injury Network

A High-Injury Network is a group of segments of roadways where the highest concentrations of traffic-related fatalities and serious injuries occur. The High-Injury Network defines the focus locations for the Town of Brookhaven. Priority assignment to each location within the High-Injury Network is currently under development but will factor underserved communities, fatalities, proximity to a school, park, or train station, relative cost of safety improvements, traffic volumes, and recent construction.
